Recorded in New South Wales these two CDs are true bliss. Chicchan plays singing bowls - nine pure quartz crystal bowls. The sound is mind-blowing. Personally, the impact that listening to these recordings has on me is profound. I am transported beyond my perceived reality into another state of consciousness. Their sound is rich and subtle. It is gentle but can shake your very foundations. I recommend that you listen to these CDs on a high quality stereo system as the resonant frequency from the bowls can play havoc with your speakers. These CDs are for meditators who are not afraid to take their practice a step further. Ideal for meditation groups and sound therapists.

If gentle reader, you have an understanding of the effect of pure sound on the consciousness, you would delight in this simple CD. I listened three times to this 45 minute. sound experience and loved the gentle purity of its effect on both me and my home. This is a 'sound experience' of 9 crystal 'singing' bowls beautifully played by Chicchan. No frills, no words, no support instruments, no extra's, just the clear vibrations of these wonderful instruments. The tones vary and I felt bathed by their healing as I did my housework enveloped in (for a change) peaceful simplicity. I would encourage music students, healers, doctors and anyone overloaded by stress to enjoy this delightfully different form of music therapy. The Magic of Pure Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls
Our beings, in fact all things, according to the latest quantum physics theory, are in a state of constant vibration. Pythagoras would say he could hear "the music of the spheres" We now know that each planet emits a different vibration and that this is exactly what Pythagoras was sensitive enough to hear. Indeed, if our hearing was sensitive enough to perceive all ranges of frequencies, we would be able to hear the music of mountains and valleys, flowers and grass, the singing of the sky and stars, and the symphony of our own body.
Modern science has confirmed what the mystics and wise healers of old cultures knew and applied as a means of harmonizing, healing and expanding human consciousness - life basically consists of sound. It brought humankind forth and maintains our existence. In the ancient civilisations of India, the Orient, Africa, Europe and among the Aboriginals and Native Americans, the practice of using sound to heal and achieve balance from within has existed for many years. The Priests and Priestesses of ancient Egypt knew how to use vowel sounds to resonate their energy centres or chakras. There is a direct link between different parts of the body and specific sounds. Such a technique appears extremely old, yet healing through sound goes back even further, at least as far back as Atlantis where the power of sound was combined with the power of crystal.
At the present time, the Hopi American Indian prophecy is being fulfilled with the “Coming of the Rainbow People” through the keepers of the crystal bowls. This ancient wisdom emerged to heal and uplift the consciousness of the Universe through pure crystal tone. The American psychic, Edgar Cayce, and Rudolf Steiner, German philosopher, educator and artistic genius both predicted “pure tones will be used for healing before the end of this century". Nostradamus foretold the healing of cancer through pure tone by 1998. The pure tones created by crystal bowl music enters as a fulfilment of this prophecy.
Crystal bowl music emits a pure holographic template of radiant light that corresponds to the octave of sound within our etheric body. Since sound can be translated into colour, the body may be seen as visible frequency that produces an auric colour field which reflects emotional states of consciousness and thus the physiological status. Kirlain photography has verified this. The pure tone of crystal bowls produces a vibrational sound field which resonates the light body chakra and corresponding physical area. A series of pure crystal tone therapy facilitates the rebalancing of each receiver back into an elevated level of etheric radiance. Clear quartz contains the full spectrum of light that is related to the seven energy centres (chakras) and thus heals the listener by bringing pure light through sound as specific colour back into the human aura. The effect is multiplied as the crystal bowls are played. Crystal acts as an oscillator, magnifying and transmitting pure tone. This is why pure silicon crystal is used in all of our most advanced telecommunication systems. Like a powerful radio transmitter, the crystal bowls transmit energy into the atmosphere, filling a person's aura with vibrational radiance.
Through the pure crystal tones as the sound effects brain wave activity, one can travel into an altered state of consciousness. As the different parts of the brain are affected, it is probable that they release different hormones and neuro-chemicals which can suppress pain and strengthen willpower in one's creative talents.
Each crystal bowl is made of 98.9% silicon quartz. One reason why the pure tones vibrate our body is that it has a natural affinity to quartz. The human body is composed of many crystalline substances, the bones, the blood and DNA are crystalline in structure as well as the liquid crystal-colloidal structure of the brain. Quartz crystal music holds the vibration of white light which ultimately refracts into the rainbow and acts directly on our chakras when played. It has the power to bring about a positive shift in our consciousness and as our awareness expands, we grow close to our original selves and start to reflect the highest radiance in our physical form.
Taking “Time In” - listening to your self as a God/Goddess, surrendering to feelings of peace, harmony and bliss, is like many things, something we need to practice. The spiritual wisdom (guidance) gleaned from the upper chakras (third eye and crown) facilitate the most responses from the quartz crystal music. Visions of past lives unlock knowledge when the mind is unplugged and revelations surface which later prove to be a key insight for the future.
For some there may be a headache, an energy blockage or toxin release, which usually “pops” before the end of the session. For many they connect with a natural “high” and a state of true bliss. Self-Acceptance through Self-Love

How well do you really "know' yourself? Honestly. Do you like yourself? Do you respect yourself? Are you self-empowered, liberated and joyous? Maybe not as much as you would like?
If we have low-self-esteem, we are living in fear of our power and cannot act on our intuitive guidance. Instead, we attract relationships that reflect this lack of self-love, not trusting our feelings and allowing others to decide our course of action.
This creation may be a preferred reality for some to experience so that we can all learn from it, eventually changing and redesigning the boundaries which limit humanity's evolution. If we are resisting change at this moment, we can set a date in the future to explore this new relationship with ourself. You may wish to sit quietly with your eyes closed, and ask your higher self to give you a date for this change in your life. Open your eyes and mark this date in your diary then let it go. Synchronicity will come into play as your Higher Self activates the necessary circumstances, events and growth opportunities needed to make this happen. Developing a practice of introspection and observation can be a love-affair with oneself, allowing the Divine to open a doorway for us to grow and evolve, awakening that part of our spirit which holds the essence of what we are capable of giving to others and ourself.
There are spiritual gifts stored in each and every one of us waiting to be released. Scientists have shown that when a fern leaf is curled up ready to unfold, a blueprint already exists for how that particular frond will look like when it is fully grown. We too have within us a blueprint for who we are and will become. And, as we develop our sense of self, we are guided towards our souls purpose and remembrance as to our true nature as an expression of God. This is our drive and passion to fulfil the task we have incarnated to accomplish. Barbara Brennan ("Light Emerging," Bantam Books) suggests this memory is stored energetically, between the heart and the throat at the thymus chakra. This is the "Soul Seat" which holds a "sacred longing" to fulfil our souls purpose. Not surprisingly it is here that the immune system plays an important part in our health. The Greek word "thymos" means soul, and connects immunity to self-identity and life purpose. The longing to reconnect self with God/Goddess and oneness within is often created by ourselves in the form of stress and dis-ease.
Recognising the signs of this separation may feel as if a part of yourself is missing. It is not missing. It is not acknowledged. We are lovers experiencing ourselves as separate entities, re-connecting our aspects into Divine Union with Source.

As lovers we embrace ourselves within our own hearts, receptive and open, desiring a love for ourselves which is unconditional and non-judgmental. How we feel about ourselves will be reflected in the quality of our relationships, our health, our intuitive abilities and our success financially. Brancusi's sculpture "Embrace"- one block of stone symbolising both male and female union is The Lovers archetype in the Voyager Tarot deck. Merging your male/female aspects is the law of union. Oneness. The Lovers represent communion with others and the integration of inner-polarities. When you find your inner lover, your inner "soul mate", you will find yourself and your "earth mate." You can nurture your male/female polarities if you feel there is an unbalance in their union by giving them both space. Here is a short exercise to play with - you can add to or change the male/female qualities described if you wish.
Sit quietly and close your eyes. Still your mind by consciously breathing deeper and slower. Call your female aspect forward. Let the male energy give his permission to allow the female to step forward, embracing the qualities of acceptance, softness, compassion. Now call your male aspect forward, letting the female aspect give her permission. Honour the male qualities of courage, strength and directness. Next, see the male and female embrace each other. Feel their connection of loving energies into a harmonious whole, then breathe the loving energies down, deep into your belly and gently release the breath with the sound aaaahhh. Continue for a few more breaths then open your eyes. As you bring the union and balance of the male and female inside of yourself, you will find co-operation and union between males and females in your external world. This energy will carry a vibration, which in turn, will affect the planet globally.
Take a day of your time and go through it with full awareness of yourself.
Do not judge your observations as good or bad, right or wrong etc. Just Be. A starting place to begin your self-reflection may well be with the air you breathe. Most likely you will start to breathe deeper when you become conscious of the air passing through the nostrils and entering the torso.
After observing the breath you may well become aware of your own physicality - your body, and how you move and care for it thoughout the day. Let the day unfold like a flower you are watching, opening to itself and interaction with all of Creation. Notice the moments of separation that you create , the judgements you think or say, and the times you align yourself to non-acceptance of the divine nature of All-That-Is.
